Original Description:
This is a very rare first pre-war uncoated heavy brass/chrome version of the famed Primoplan 5.8cm (58mm) f/1.9 lens. The lens takes great sharp pictures with gorgeous vintage bokeh, not very contrasty by modern standards due to lack of coatings.
The glass is in good condition with no apparent scratches or fungus. I can spot a bit of faint haze under the front glass, which is barely noticeable and does not seem to affect the images. Mechanically the perfectly round aperture works we...ll, and the focusing ring rotation is easy and smooth.
It comes with two caps.
