US Army Distinguished Service Medal, has a plain edge and no serial number. Appears to date from the interwar (1920-1940) period. Includes what appears to be the original ribbon, but lacks the pin. It was found with a group of other First World War medals and resembles medals from the 20s and 30s more than post WWII ones. I'm not an expert in war medals, however, so I cannot guarantee that this is genuine or of that period.
