Tridacna Gigas Giant clam shells. They arebecoming very rare and valuable as a matchedpair in excellent condition
I have owned this beautiful pair fo...r many years. I originallybought the set for my newly remodeled home. I wanteda statement piece on the countertop in a master bath.Mybath had just been remodeled. I filled the one side of theclam shell with shells that i had purchased includingseveral that i picked up on a trip to the BritishWest Indies. The clam shell looked absolutely stunning inmy master bath and it made me smile to see themevery day. One of the shells sits very well on the flat surfaceand you can fill it with shells for your display. You willnot need to prop it up in anyway which is nice.
This order will also include all of thesmaller shells that you see in the photos!
Note: the photos were taken on a sunnyday and it washed out some of the detailon the top of the clam shell.When i have anovercast day i will take a few more photos.The shells are highly detailed and the ribsvery distinct.
The color of the shells is predominantly bright whitewithout the dark splotches i see on other shellsfor sale. This makes the shells much more desirablein my opinion for display. It took me a long time tofind the set i wanted. Of course i purchased themhere on E-Bay.

The clam shells are aprox 19" x 11 1/2"weight:31 lbs for the clam shells5 lbs 4 oz for the smaller shellsShipping weight will be about50 lbs. (This order include free shipping.)
You will want to be very careful as the edges aresharp and can be easily damaged. I always usea pair of soft cotton gloves when handling theshells, especially when you are putting the set together.
