Vintage late 1950's AGV Motorcycle Racing Helmet. Rare silver with black racing stripe color combination with matching grey skirt trimmed in black leatherette. Interior is a medium brown "baseball mitt" leather with early black green and gold tag. Helmet is an NOS (New Old Stock) store display and includes the original paper hang tag. Does have some brow staining and cracking but no other noticeable signs of use or wear. Skirt and leather remains supple an...d the overall condition is Good / Very Good. Size on tag is 7 1/4US, 7 1/8UK, 58 Continental and it runs on the small side.
Unlike the later AGV pudding basins (with plastic piping) I have only seen this particular helmet in old Italian race photos. A real collectors item. But it Now to receive by Christmas!
