A superbShelley Art Deco "Butterfly Handle" 11757 Mode shape tea cup, circa1930. The Mode shape was only produced between 1930 & 1932. PatternNo 11757 which was entered in pattern book during or after 1930.
Butterflyhandle in black and orange; blue, orange and yellow enamelled flowers withgreen and grey leaves on a white ground. The cupmeasures: footed base diameter 48mm (1.8 inches); diameter across top of cup79mm (3.1 inches); height of cup 71mm (2.75 inche...s).
Thispiece has small signs of wear underneath on the base only, and some small spotson the interior near the top of the coloured flower side (see photos). Allpaintwork/enamelling is in excellent shape with no fading of the pattern.
Will bepacked carefully to avoid damage while shipping. Ships from Ontario, Canada.
