UP FOR... Your Consideration:
Item Description: A vintage Sterling silver souvenir spoon; bowl with detailed embossed image of the "OLD CHURCH TACOMA WASH."; handle with elaborate Washington state imagery: George Washington, Sound with ferry boat, fisherman; back of handle with Mt. Rainier, mining images and salmon.
Marked with "STERLING" and the silver mark of what I believe to be Mayer Bros. of Seattle (active 1895-1945) but it's VERY tiny and I can't quite make it out. Based on where this spoon came from it likely dates to the 1920's or 30's. Spoon is a "demi-tasse" size.
Size: Just under 4" or 100 mm long. Weight is 5 grams.
Condition: Definitely has been "out of the box, " but in very good condition with no major scratches, dents or damage.
Source: Donated by a friend of the gallery to help our "cause."
