Antique Hammond Circular Typewriter.
This is the 2nd Hammond I am listing with NO RESERVE. I have a total of three that I will be listing.
Great typewriter but not working. It is sold in AS-IS condition.
Serial 34581. I am not positive but I think this dates it to 1898?
Beautiful potential and a great typewriter for anyone's collection.
The Hammond Typewriter Company was founded in 1880, and produced its first machine by 1884, winn...ing a gold medal at the New Orleans Centennial Exposition that same year. The Hammond Typewriter touted its superior strength and durability due to its unique type-shuttle and hammer typing mechanism.
