Up for auction is a Sioux Blanket with Beaded Blanket Strip. It is 57" wide by 70" long overall. The beaded blanket strip measures 65-1/2" long by 3-1/2" wide. This piece should date around 1910. These items are out of the Charles Peterson Collection out of Illinois. Charles past away several years ago and we purchased a large portion of his collection. He collected out of Sothebys, Christies, James Applan, Butterfield and Butterfield (which was acquired by E-bay in 1998.)
