Norm Flayderman died in 2013, so this is the last and most recent edition of his iconic reference book. It covers over 4, 000 American firearm models... and variants, which are extensively described with specifications and markings. Due to its publication date, I would caution the purchaser not to rely too heavily on the listed prices, but you won’t find a better guide to identify rare antique US firearms and their production variants. As a firearm appraiser, I use Flayderman’s Guide often. The photos and listed markings make it easy to identify a firearm, and the text provides historical context and production data. A must have for firearm collectors! This would make a great gift for the holidays! Condition: In very good (or like new) condition with only very minor wear to the covers (very minor scuffs & scratches, hardly any impressions, very minor corner bumps, corner/edge wear). Binding is intact, not an ex-library book, no funky odor, no visible foxing, no markings or highlights inside, no dog-eared pages, comes from a non-smoking home but I did purchase it used, I do have pets, but they rarely read my books.
