PETER MAX BETTMANN PANOPTICON SHOW LITHO 1963 RARE PSYCHEDELICu are bidding on a vintage 1960s poster by noted graphic artist Peter Max entitled " The Bettmann Panopticon Show" , for an October 22 - Nov 22 show. The year is not present on the poster but this apparently dates from 1963 which is fairly early on in Max's career. Max founded the Daly and Max studio with fellow artist Tom Daly in 1962, so this is likely one of his earliest pieces of work for the studio. Item measures approx...imately 12 1/2 x 12 1/2" and features a kaleidoscopic motif which characterizes much of his work.
Item is in about VG+ condition, with light edgewear and minor rubbing to edges, minor scattered foxing to front panel, heavier foxing to rear panel, but colors are nice and bright, this is a nice example of what appears to be a very rare Max item
