RimRock: 9.4 oz Rare FEATHER AGATE PETRIFIED WOOD Rough DescriptionWe got this from an old collection and it came out of Central Oregon, but I don't know the location or name.
This piece has a cut face that helps to show the feathery pattern inside. I see a couple of hairline fractures and several small vugs, but it's otherwise solid.
It measures, at its widest:
3" x 1-3/4" x 2-1/4"
Weight: 9.4 oz
Pictures were taken of each side with the rock wet, ...except for the picture with the tape measure, which was taken dry. You could cut this or leave it as a display specimen.
