This is a very nice early Wagner Ware stylized logo skillet in size 10 with an external heat, number 1060A. The cooking surface has some utensil scoring, but is still exceptionally smooth to the touch. Six sheets of printer paper stops movement on a granite surface. These No 10 skillets are very useful in the kitchen and also great for your collection too. No cracks, cleaned by professional methods, and seasoned with non-animal vegetable oils.
This item was stripped down to ba...re metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Five rounds of seasoning at 450 degrees with Crisco for several hours. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
