Finely Crafted VintageChinese Wooded Statue Of A Monk.The monk is craftedseating on a log. He is holding a alms bowl.His loose flowing robeshows his thin body of protruding ribs.The sculpture is made ofcomposites (possibly mix with wood) as the details are too fine.Excellent condition.Height: 22.5 cmWeight: 631 gramsThe battery is there forsize comparison. It has nothing to do with the item.I combine postage andoffer the most favourable postage rate for multiple items.As in most antiqu...es, there are inevitably some imperfections that are hard to detect. Thephotographs form part of the description.'Most of our collectionis one of a kind. My wife and I bought the items because we liked it forourselves. They were never intended to be resold. Each item has a story andwhen possible, we hand carried in the luggage from all over the world to bringback to Australia. Some of the items have travelled a long way away and some ofthe items have been with us for 65 years. We are both now retired and need todownsize.
