Carved Boxwood Buddha - Chinese Cultural Revolution? Wooden Carving
Item History & Price
Here we have a really great little carved Buddha. I think that this is most likely a Chinese C...ultural Revolution carving, but it is not quite as finely finished as others I have seen. Also I cannot find any other Buddhas in this style. So I am not 100% sure, although my guess is that he is.Also please note the Buddha is missing a finger on his right hand. Apart from that he is in great shape.Happy bidding!Approximate DimensionsHe is quite a small chap and measures:Inches: 3.5 high x 2 across x 1 deep.Centimeters: 9 high x 5 across x 3 deep. The last photograph in the series features a can (or cans), to give you a sense of scale. These are not part of the auction! Postage And PackagingTo keep my costs down, and help the environment, I use recycled boxes and packaging where at all possible. I also take a great pride in making sure that your item is VERY well packaged and arrives with you in great shape.I aim to get parcels on their way to you the day (or at the latest the next day) payment has been received. I always update the listing with a shipping tracking number, so you know it has been dispatched.Overseas BuyersPLEASE NOTE: I am not geared up to post items abroad, BUT I have opted in to the eBay Global Shipping Program (which means they do the overseas shipping for me). So if this item is available to you via that, then GREAT, we'll let eBay do the work for us! If it is not (eBay excludes some items from this program), I am sorry I CAN'T ship it to you!PaymentsAs I am really just a hobbyist seller I only take Paypal or postal orders. I would ask you to PLEASE pay promptly if you win as late, or even worse non-payments, cause me a lot of hassle and it is really not very fair on someone who is trying to offer the best service possible!About Me And GoodbyeI guess that is it, apart from saying I ALWAYS do my VERY best to date and describe all the items I sell, BUT THEY ARE SOLD AS SEEN. So please read the complete description and look at ALL the photographs.
I have always been a bit of a collector, but recently I have begun to sell as well. It is just a hobby and helps to fund some of my eBay purchases. I do not (and never will) make any kind of living out of it! Blimey, I'd starve to death if I ever tried!
I also wish you happy bidding! If you have a chance please take a look at my eBay seller page and also at ALL the other wondrous treasures I have for sale!
