I am offering for sale this Clean Crisp Antique W.H. Pond, New Haven CT 5/8" Side Bead Plane Inv#HB14
The W.H. Pond, New Haven logo appears on the toe with owner name A.DENMAN. On the heel is the number 5/8 & The owner's name again. The cutter is pitted but in cleaned-up condition, it measures: 7-1/5" x 5/8". I would suggest sharpening it to bring it back to optimal use. Plane has minor nicks & scars from age and use but overall in very clea...n condition (see photos) The wedge is original. This plane has been gently used and taken care of and is in excellent usable condition. The finish is awesome with great smooth feel and patina.. (please see all photos)
