WELCOME TO BRANDON'S AUCTION CO.This auction consists of a pair of candle holders in the hand painted Palm Ware pattern by Olive Commons.  Olive Commons is a recognized American artist.  Both pieces are signed and have Miami on them.  The pattern is simple, but elegant; it features palm trees and Spanish moss in platinum on a white background, & is also trimmed in platinum.  Each candle holder measures approximately 3" tall x 4 1/2" wide.  I ...have 9 different pieces all listed in separate auctions (I have 4 snack sets, a 3 handled open serving dish, a 1 handled serving dish with 3 sections, a pair of taper candle holders,  the four footed sugar bowl with lid,  & the four footed tea pot or coffee pot with lid).  Photo 1 shows this set facing one way.  Photo 2 shows this set facing the other way.  Photo 3 shows a close-up of the wear to the platinum on the top of one candle holder.  Photo 4 shows a discolored area on the inside of the other candle holder (this may be wax residue as these were used, and I didn't want to scrub on it; this does NOT affect the display as this is on the inside).  Photo 5 shows the maker's mark on the bottom of both (all pieces are marked).  Photo 6 shows a close-up of the mark.  And the last photo shows all of the pieces I have in this pattern.  This set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs; just the aforementioned wear, any spots you see are from glare.  You are only buying one pair of taper candle stick holders.  I do combine items to save on USPS Priority Shipping.  Thanks for stopping by & please feel free to e-mail me with any questions you may have, or for additional photos.  I have some other fine china that I will be listing soon.  Check out my other items for just about anything.  Thanks again.  Col.
