Vintage Native American Sterling Silver Turquoise Bolo SIGNED Doris Smallcanyon.
This piece comes from a collection of Native American jewelry and art that my great-grandfather put together between the late '70s and early '80s. It is a classic example of the artistic style of its maker, the artist Doris Smallcanyon. Her signature can be seen on the back. The bolo slide is made of sterling silver with six turquoise stones, and it measures 3 and 1/8 inches tall and 1 and 1/2 inches wi...de at the widest point. The leather tie is 18 inches when doubled and is capped with two sterling silver tips that are 2 inches each.
