RARE TITANIC SUBMERSIBLE MODEL AND BOOK
Up for auction is a SUPER RARE Titanic Submersible Model by Steve Santini and Susan Hughes. This detailed scale model is accompanied by the book “The Science and Story of Titanic”; a thorough, well illustrated history of the construction, the sinking, and the explorations of Titanic’s wreckage.
This model is a highly sought after item for any Titanic buff... and becoming increasingly hard to find in any condition. This model is in very good USED condition.
This model has been tested. When set in the break away mode it will begin to sink, then break into two parts with one half (the bow) sinking first, then the other half (the stern) shortly following. Very clever design. Measures 16” long, 2” at widest and 3.5” high.
This model is missing the rear mast, one of the propellers, and its display stand. The front mast has a slight detachment but is there. It does not have the original box that it came in. Everything else is there though and the model does fully function as it should. A really cool, COLLECTIBLE, and fun toy!!!
