Pre columbian - Ancient Alien-Spaceman-Ballplayer pottery statue. Colombia. Height around 5"
This figurine I believe is from Coloimbia South America dating to around 200 BC-300 AD.It is almost identical to a famous one found there that is often used to suggest that aliens once lived among us. Another explanation is that the costumes were worn by ballplayers of some sort.
This has been in my collection for nearly 50 years, and I believe it is authentic. It is ...not some newly made souviner.
The damage to the headress is obvious. The photos tell it all. This does not take away from the fact that it is a rare and interesting piece.
