We have for your viewing andbidding pleasure a highly sought after collectible GRISWOLD heart andstar waffle iron. On the top of each of the waffle irons are theshape of 5 hearts raised up. In the center of this is the GRISWOLDlogo with the name embossed with 2 circles around it. From outer edgeto outer edge of the outer circle it measures 3 1/8” across. Alsoembossed on the top of each iron is HEART STAR ERIE, PA., U.S.A.NO. 18 PAT'D MAY 18, 1920. 928N. The inside of the waffle iro...n has 5heart shapes with the star in the middle. The handles are of circularmetal with spaces for venting to dissipate the heat when handling.Underneath the base it is stamped THE GRISWOLD MFG. CO. ERIE, PA., U.S.A. NO 8 PATT 152B. The irons themselves and the base areseasoned. The base has a wire bail carrying handle. The whole unit isin very good condition with no damage of any type. If you werelooking for this type of GRISWOLD waffle iron, this would be the onefor you to have in its natural metal seasoned patina. We are listingit at a no reserve selling price.
