This is a 9 1/2 inch (24 cm) tall pottery figure of Madonna and Child made by the highly respected Professor Eugenio Pattarino on or about 1960 in Florence, Italy. It is a substantial piece, heavy for its size, but still very detailed and delicate at the same time. It is marked inside with the initials 'EPF' underglaze along with what appears to be the number 606 and a few other marks that we cannot decipher. This one is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs of any kind...--and with little, if any loss of gold trim. The white spots you see on the back are underglaze paint misses from the manufacture, not damage. We GUARANTEE the maker and condition as stated.
