Here I have a vintage Yard-O-Led mechanical pencil for sale. I see Scratches, Surface wear, Dents caused by the clip, No lead, and NEEDS REPAIRING. This seems to be an early model from this company. The very top reads ANS. Then top front reads, Yard O Led, right side reads Sterling Silver, and the left side reads Made in England. The clip reads Pat Appd For. This mechanical pencil weighs about 22 grams. Again, unfortunately, this pencil will need repairing to work properly. Please, see... my other listings, because I do combine shipping charges. For overall Condition, just LOOK at pictures and YOU decide. (Note- a clear stand was used and a ruler was used to show size) Yard-O-Led is an unusual name, it also happens to be a very practical one as it states right up front precisely what made it famous. The name is rooted in the company's first product; a pencil with a unique lead system. The Yard-O-Led Pencil Company was founded in London, England in 1934 by Ludwig Brenner when he took out a patent on a pencil mechanism providing the capacity to hold 12, three inch leads. THANKS FOR LOOKING Please pay within 48 hours after auction ends. Again, Thanks for looking.
