absolutely stunning antique dodecagon (a shape with 12 sides or facets) shaped footed dessert / cake plate / stand from schwarzenhammer. made in bavaria. this beautiful piece has a stunning cobalt blue edge with gold gilt on a ivory porcelain. this dish measures 10" in diameter 9" and is 5" tall. these colors look great by themselves or paired with other sets for an exquisite grandmillennial table settting. i was not able to find this pattern name but i was able to date thi...s piece to 1905-1923 based on the manufacturers backstamp. it is hard to believe that there are no cracks, chips or even crazing on this over (potentially over) 100 year old piece of porcelain. i have taken a bunch of pictures to help give you an accurate idea of the condition. please, please, please look at them and enlarge them. i always try to highlight any flaws with the pictures. they are, by far, the most important part of my ad. also. please allow for color variations from screen to screen. let's keep it real, colors do vary from device to device. please remember that this item is used, not new. do not expect new condition at a used price. it may have light markings/wear associated with being used.
