RARE BARSONY VASE
This is a fabulous black and red Barsony Australian pottery vase or bowl, in mint condition, and a rare survivor of the era - I've not seen another one quite like it. The original owner received it as a wedding present in 1959, and said it's been in storage ever since. The vase is quite large, measuring 18.5 cm high by 26 cm wide. It has a faint number on the edge of the base which reads 255? - I can't quite make out the last number (see photographs).... It's in virtually mint condition, with just a little paint wear underneath the base (probably there since manufacture - just mentioned form accuracy). It's perfect!This item may be collected from the Central Coast of NSW, or posted Worldwide.
