Lot of love/relationship letters, photo album and autograph book............The photo album and autograph book belonged to Chestene (Chet) Crosby, Greenwich, Connecticut....... #1: Photo album measuring approx. 6-1/4 by 9-1/4 inches, 15 pages of photos. Family, friends, visit to Nova Scotia. Dated 1927-1930.......... #2: Autograph book with inscriptions which seem to be from graduation from Greenwich High School, circa 1929. Partially filled............ #3: Love/relationship lette...rs between Chestene Crosby Livingston ( Macdougal St, NY) and Barrett Smith Jr (U.S Department of Labor, Washington, DC). It seems there was a long distance relationship for a number of years between Chet and Barrett. With talk of a Mexican divorce for Chestene so they could be together. There is also talk of a young girl named Sue that seems to be Chestene's daughter living elsewhere. Just about all are hand written.......There is also a smaller group of love/admirer letters from a Bill Ryan (The Ryan) from Greenwich, CT. Attempting to win her heart with his wit and humor. It seems that Ryan worked for a newspaper in Greenwich, CT. Almost all of these letters are typescript and many do not have their original envelopes...........................
