10 1/4 inches across. Big enough to be useful.....small enough to be cute. Could fit a variety of uses......ash can,
animal food, deer corn....grass seed.....or could just be ornamental. The lid is attached, and slips to the side. .. held
in place by the metal bar. Unusual item...not branded....the only sticker reads ..." Made in Britain". Nice gift item.
