**See my many other vintage lighter listings *1943-46 3 Barrel Hinge 2032695 patent steel case World War Two Zippo Lighter. At some point, the black crackle was removed and the lighter was chrome plated. The owner also personalized the lighter by applying a very nice enameled cross and engraving the lid D.C. Bryant on the lid and KILMER 1945-46 on the back. It has the original 14 hole chimney steel insert. The re-chroming has completely covered the bottom stamp. Condition: The 3 barrel... hinge is just slightly loose. The case has no dings or dents. The insert may have a frozen flint.
