This is Steinbachs "Swiss Man" number S1696. This beautiful piece is signed by the creator and was produced in 2002/2003. This piece is a double music box nutcracker. The "Swiss Man" is holding a brass bell with leather hanger. In his other hand is the Flag of Switzerland. He measures 19" Tall and 11" across the base. The music boxes are controlled from the back. The top music box plays " Nach em Rage schint D' Sunne" with Romance #6343 Swiss Mov...ement. The lower music box plays " Vo Luzen uf Weggis zue Volkst." and with Romance # 6314 Swiss Movement. This is a Fantastic LARGE piece, would be a highlight of any collection. This item is used but never displayed and stored in his original box. This item comes from a smoke and pet free home. This item is part of a very large privatecollection of over 100 pieces.
