Each week I bring you vintage early radio items. I have been collecting radios, phonographs, and music boxes for 45 years, and always have something interesting for sale. Here up for bid is this early 1920's laboratory made crystal radio receiver with slide tuner , tuning condenser, and one tube amplifier. This radio looks great. The coils are tight on the slide tuner. The crystal detector is there intact. The Lab tag is there and reads "LAB APP 1743" . The wood base is solid, parts ar...e in very good condition.  The radio measures 22 inches long, 6 inches deep, and 5.5 inches high. Comes with a good type O1A tube. The knob adjusts the tube filament voltage. All terminals are marked with tags. This is a great early radio for your collection or museum. Buyer pays $40 shipping to 48 states.
