RARE Unique One of a Kind art book. It is hard to describe what this actually is. Some would say it is an Art Assemblage, a Shadow Box Book, or a Memorial Book. It is in a book form and is very large and heavy 21x17 inches. It would look great on an easel for display. I like to call it "The Whistlers" from the picture on the cover. All of the drawings in the book are on canvas or a fabric like material. I do not think they are originals. All the pages open up with ribbons and the outsi...de of the book and the pages are a heavy fabric. The inside of the pages are of a high quality felt or velvet. This book is exquistely constructed. As you see in the photos there are 3 prints inside the book. When you open the last page you reveal a wonderful shadow box filled with amazing items as follows: A photo of a small boy, plastic horse, Hohner Harmonica, metal clips of Dale Evans and the Lone Ranger, metal soldiers, Marbles, old train engine toy, glass slide of bear feeding in Yellowstone, old metro tokens, boy scout oath coin, and a 10f coin dated 1990, plastic women hanging out laundry, tin litho horse, Broadway train car with "Box 2319" above it, jacks and a photo of another little boy. I have seen nothing like this. I believe it is handmade. Some say it could be a memory book of a loved one that has passed and the memories of times in his life. This piece is in very good condition but 2 of the toy soldiers have became loose inside the shadow box, and I think that the tin horse may have moved too. Please note the shipping.
