VERY SCARCE WWII German Death Card, DECORATED PANZER SOLDIER KIA DURING FAMOUS TANK FIGHTING IN KURSKDESCRIPTION: Rare original WWII German death card for a DECORATED PANZER SOLDIER WHO DIED DURING A TANK BATTLE DURING THE FAMOUS BATTLE OF KURSK. Specifically: "Franz Rauscher, obergefreiter in a PANZER REGIMENT, veteran of the campaigns AGAINST POLAND AND FRANCE, who heroically died near KURSK (Russia) on March 17, 1943, aged 29". PHOTO IN UNIFORM WEARING PANZER A...SSAULT BADGE AND WOUND BADGE. Kursk PANZER cards are very scarce and highly collectable. Excellent condition.Original card, over 75 years old, and a nice face and story to a soldier who otherwise would be a forgotten statistic. No additional postage with multiple purchases. Items are sold ONLY as historical artifacts and I respect the bans of such items in France, Austria, or any other countries where bids cannot be accepted.
