This listing is for a rare set of Chrysler signs from the 1960's. These originally belonged to my late grandfather, who worked as a mechanic for a Chrysler dealership back then. They were originally part of a store display (I believe he said it was a display for the Chrysler 300). He saved them after the display was taken down. Honestly, that is about all I know about them, other than the fact that they are very rare. I spent a pretty long time looking online, and couldn't find a...ny other examples of these. All four (4) signs measure 8" in diameter, and are made from a thick, heavy plastic/acrylic material. Two of them have 4 screw holes for mounting them. The other two have small pegs sticking out of the back of them (a few are snapped off). All four signs are in great shape for their age, with only a few small, minor marks on their fronts. Their back sides have more scatches, but these obviously can't be seen while they are being displayed. Also, one of the signs with the mounting pegs on the back of it is slightly warped (last picture). The other 3 are flat. These signs display incredibly well, and would make a fantastic addition to anyone's automotive collection!Sorry for the long description.
