Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific group of classic "blue cap" tourmaline crystals from this famed Brazilian locale!!! This group of three specimens, each unique in their own way - one crystal hosts a second, conjoined crystal; one crystal exhi...bits an unusually pronounced and elongated blue termination with pyramidal faces; and one is doubly terminated!!! All three crystals are sharp, lustrous, and complete!!! The crystals all exhibit gorgeous, characteristic blue "caps" at the terminations!!! While the one crystals exhibits an unusual color pattern for the locale, the other two exhibit the characteristic "Sapo" color presentation - flat blue cap followed by a zone of pale yellowish color and a pink core toward the base!!! This trio of specimens came from a collector who had originally acquired a large quantity of specimens from the first big find and had kept little groups of unique crystals that he fancied for one reason or another - this was one such group and I thought they were best left as a group as well!!! Classic material!!! These specimens continue to get more and more difficult to obtain - it is easy to understand why they are so highly sought after and why collectors seldom part with them!!!The pics hardly do it justice!!!
