Up for auction is a SUPREMELY rare piece of history! This is a disc containing presentations, slides, developer resources, and more from the Win32 Professional Developers Conference (PDC) that took place in 1993!
There are screenshots of things like VERY early Chicago prototypes in presentations, as well as mentions of Cairo and much more.
The disc and case are in like new condition and would make an AWESOME ...addition to anyone's collection of Microsoft memorabilia or general technology history.

International Shipping: USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Small Box and insured for the full amount of the auction! Customs costs are your responsibility to pay! It is illegal for me to claim a lower value on a customs form, and it also nullifies the insured amount (they will only reimburse for the claimed value). Thus, it's a lose/lose scenario for me as a seller; so, though I really wish I could do everyone the favor of sparing the cost of duties, it's not something I'm flexible on *at all*.
Combined Shipping: If you win more than one auction, I will send you an invoice with combined (and upgraded, if necessary) shipping, so you'll be good to go!
Return Policy: View my feedback rating to see that I am an upstanding seller who goes the extra mile! I do accept returns because I know things can happen; however, buyer pays return shipping. Also, if the item comes back to me in any condition other than how it was shipped, then you will only receive a partial refund. When a seller allows returns, eBay affords the seller protection via the ability to withhold up to 50% of the original amount paid. 99.9% of my buyers have been good, honest people! But for the rare person looking to scam or pull a switch-a-roo, I go out of my way to extensively document and report any buyer who abuses the money back guarantees of eBay, PayPal, or other card companies. Scammers beware...
eBay's protection for sellers occurs when we, the sellers, set an auction to allow returns, which I have done with this auction. This way, scammers can't pull a switch-a-roo or return an item in worse condition than they received it. If they do, the seller gets to keep up to half of the buyer's money *after* the buyer ships the item back to the seller. If need be, sellers can get eBay involved to potentially recoup more.
Where buyer's remorse and attempted scamming/bilking of a seller and/or eBay's Buyer Protection Guarantee are concerned, sellers can file an official complaint about a buyer directly with eBay: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/resolving-buyer-issues/reporting-issue-buyer?id=4084
Additionally, sellers can file an official complaint with the payment processor/entity the buyer used to make a purchase. This includes PayPal, credit card companies, banks, etc. All of these entities tend to offer some sort of buyer protection as well; however, a seller can file official complaints with them in return to document buyer fraud if it has occurred (turns out, they care when people try to take advantage of their policy).
