For sale stunning vintage 1970's Citizen Crystron 150m divers watch.
This is one of the iconic vintage Citizen diving watches made in response to the 1970's quartz crisis.
They were only made for the Japanese market and are quite rare to find now.
The large all stainless steel case is in excellent condition with its original unpolished finish and nice sharp edges.
It has a lovely black dial with outer minute track, dat and date window and original lume markers.
The marke...rs still glow in the dark and are original and untouched.
It has the original hands again with perfect original in fill.
At the base of the dial it states "P-Japan-P 7100 - 715672-Y".
It has large and thick uni - directional rachet bezel.
The insert is in superb used condition and has faded to a wonderful blue colour with original pip at 12.
It has nice resistance and feels very sturdy and firm.
It has original screw down crown and screw down case back, which again is in excellent condition.
The engravings are nice and clear.
It also states "Water Resistant - All Stainless Steel - Japan - Citizen watch co. - 4-730453Y - 90510038 - GN-4-S - 44-0019".
It has domed crystal which is in excellent condition.
It keeps excellent time using a crystron quartz movement.
The day and date function work just as they should.
As a divers watch should be, the watch is quite large.
It is 44.5mm in diameter including crown and 41mm without.
It is 47.5mm lug to lug and lug spacing is 20mm.
The strap pictured is NOT INCLUDED - it is sold HEAD ONLY.
This is a beautiful and rare vintage Citizen diver.
During the 60's and seventies they made some fantastic divers watches.
They are superb quality and extremely well made.
The condition is just superb and totally original.
