INCREDIBLY RARE ORIG 1983 FIRST ISSUE U.S. ELVIS PRESLEY " ELVIS GOLDEN RECORDS " STEREO CD IN AS NEW CONDITION! THIS IS THE EARLY STEREO VERSION THAT WAS QUICKLY REPLACED BY THE MONO VERSIONS HAVING A NEW NUMBER ALSO! THESE ARE SO MUCH SCARCER THAN ALL LATER ISSUES AS THEY WERE PRODUCED IN SUCH SMALL NUMBERS! THIS IS THE VERY FIRST AND EXTREMELY RARE AS NEW STEREOPHONIC ISSUE OF ELVIS PRESLEY'S 'ELVIS GOLDEN HITS' CD! (Rca PCD1-1707). YES, THESE WERE ISSUED IN VERY LATE 198...3 AND WERE ONLY OUT FOR AN EXTREMELY SHORT TIME BEFORE THE CRITICISM OF THE REPROCESSED STEREO PROMPTED RCA TO PULL THESE FROM THE MARKET AND REPLACE THEM WITH THE ORIGINAL MONO ISSUES. THESE MONO ISSUES HAVE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT CATALOG SELECTION NUMBER (Rca PCD1-5196). ALSO ON THE FAR MORE COMMON LATER ISSUES, THE WORDS "RESTORED TO ORIGINAL MONO" IS PRINTED ON THE BACK. ...BUT THE CD BEING OFFERED HIS IS INDEED, THE ORIGINAL STEREO ISSUE HAVING THE 1707 NUMBER WHICH IS THE NUMBER OF THE ORIGINAL ALBUM TOO. CONDITION ON THIS EXAMPLE IS PERFECT MINT! IT'S STILL IN THE EARLY HEAVY PLASTIC JEWEL CASE TOO WITH SAND BLASTED DESIGNED TOP AND BOTTOM EDGES. THE WORDS " PATENT PENDING " IS IN MOLDED PRINT ON THE BACK OF THE JEWEL CASE. THE TRAY ONLY HAS THE COMPACT DISC PRINT ONCE LIGHT IN RAISED PRINT. LATER ONES QUICKLY PRINTED THAT TWICE IN RECESSED AND RAISED PRINT. YOU WON'T FIND A BETTER EXAMPLE! THERE TRULY ARE VERY VERY RARE! Check out the picture(s) and enjoy !
