This vintage Berkley Spin Cast was made in Spirit Lake, Iowa. I don't think any line has been used off the spool that says it is approx. 312 yds. It is the 1/4 lb. spool that measures 2 5/8" X 2 3/4"...Great piece for the vintage fishing tackle collector. Really quite good condition. What i note of interest is the price sticker on the back of this spool. The spool was bought at the Yeager's Sporting Goods store in Bellingham, WA back when... you could buy a 1/4 pound spool of 40 lb. test line for $1.97. Amazing--that was a long time ago....
