Henckels10072½StraightRazor · Condition - Near Mint / possibly NOS· Point - Round· Width - 21mm (approximately 6/8 of an inch)· Shoulder - Double Shoulder· ...;Grind - Half / Full Hollow· Spine - Straight / Plain· Scales (Handles) - Plastic / Black with Single Twin · Jimps - Top and Bottom of the tang· Text on Tang - 10072½ HENCKELS SOLINGENGERMANY Special Note - This 10072½ Henckels is an extremely rare"Single Twin" razor, doubly rare because it is stamped"Solingen" and not "Zwillingswerk" (Which is appropriatesince "zwillinge" means "twins" in German) The blade isin extremely beautiful condition. Although there are very light scuffs and marks, the blade still has its factory grindpattern. Judging by the lack of hone wear on the spine and the narrowness of the bevel, this Henckels razor may very well be unused, new-old stock. The black scales are still shiny with light surface scuffs and the pins are clean. The "Single Twin" insignia iscleanly embossed and undamaged. The blade opens and closes centered and is very tight in its scales. As close to new as you can get for this out of production, vintage Henckels.Extremely rare in this condition, this vintage10072½ Henckels would make a wonderfuladdition for any enthusiast's collection or as part of your personal rotation.
