Zenith Transoceanic Bomber 7G605 Radio & Eveready Battery Case . Condition is Used.
Condition of this radio, along with the hard to find battery case, set this apart from the rest.
ZENITH TRANSOCEANIC BOMBER 7G605 Radio in extremely nice condition. Vintage transoceanic tube radio in extremely nice condition. See photos as they are the ultimate description, you be the judge (look at the photos closely, they show all sides). This radio turns on and I was able to adjust the volume ...up and down as well as dial in multiple channels. Not sure how it operates in terms of range, or if it is fully operational but it turns on and dials in some stations (I used the telescoping antenna). The brown tuning knob fits loosely (it appears to be splined and possibly a bit worn). It turns the dial shaft but it is loose. Easy to address if you so desire.
This radio is very old and used and should be properly serviced. No guarantee of performance / condition. Sold as is with no returns.
Battery case is not perfect but in nice condition. No batteries inside, filled with styrofoam. Displays very well.
I will package very well (shrink wrapped, bubble wrapped, boxed and then boxed again with a thick layer of padding in between). Please ask questions prior to bid as there are no returns. Thanks for looking.
