This auction is for an early Chiquita Banana Metal thermometer Sign. Here is a sign that you do not come across everyday. The front has the advertising wording on it, and in the center there is the thermometer glass thermometer tube, which appears to be keeping the correct temp and is working fine. On the bottom of the piece there is the graphic of a dancing banana with her hands in the air, and a flower hat on. The sign is ready for a collection, there is some minor paint ware mos...tly along the edges, overall a great piece for display. It measures 27 inches tall, and 8 inches wide.
