Antique Stanley Victor No 20 1/2 Circular Compass Plane Rare Old Tool

Up for bids is a nice antique Stanley No. 20 1/2 compass plane. This rare old tool is embossed: "STANLEY" near the toe. The large ornate adjustment knob reads: "VICTOR 20 1/2" in a circular border, and the cutter is stamped "Stanley Pat Ap'l 19, 92". This plane has a smooth sole that has some light stains, but no pitting on the underside. It adjusts smoothly in both directions, and has a good throat. The blade is 1 3/4" wide, and measures 6 13/16" long. Overall condition is very good,... with no cracks, chips, damage or repairs. This type of plane is desirable to users, and is a nice example that is hard to find in this condition. It is ready for use or display, and will be a welcome addition to your shop or collection, offered at a Low start price with no reserve.
