Up for auction is a Sioux Beaded Tab Bag. It has horses meeting beaded on the bag as well as the moon, southern star and north star above the horses. Displays very nicely. Circa 1910. It is beaded on the front. Brain tanned leather and tack leather. The drops are brain tanned and the bag is tack leather. Tin Tinklers. The bag is 7" long by 6-1/2" wide not including the drops. Tack leather back. The front is brain tanned leather. This piece is out of the Lutheran Reverend Ernest V...on Kronwitter that was from Germany but was doing Missionary work in the Dakotas and other Indian Reservations in the early 1900's He collected these items and took them back to Germany before World War 1 broke out.
