This is an interesting item,
an original painting advertising poster for
British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) “B.O.A.C Airlines” with the blurb “Follow the Sun all the year round”
the artwork is not signed but came from a collection of original lat...e 1940s to the early first couple of years of the 1950s original poster and advert art
the painting measures 10 inches by 6 inches approx.
painting has some wrinkling to paper, some rubbed spots, minor edge tear with no loss, right hand edge has not been cut straight, and the is noticeable paper residue on reverse from being stuck down at some point
