PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING.
Up for auction is a beautiful battery operated ROTATE-O-MATIC SUPER ASTRONAUT w/ BOX from 1980, made by S.H. in Japan. I bought this toy myself back in 1980 from Kiddie World in San Jose, California, so I am the original owner. I loved how he looked, but I never played with him. I had him placed up on display on a shelf, then moved him to a glass case around 1983.
ROTATE-O-MATIC SUPER ASTRONAUT is 12 inches ...tall and is in perfect shape! He has no scratches, dings, or dents! Comes with his original box, and cardboard inserts. The box is in excellent shape as are the cardboard inserts.
Super Astronaut not only looks beautiful, but works perfectly as he should! You place two D batteries in his back panel, flick the switch on his back, and Super Astronaut will walk forward, then stop, the chest doors swing open, guns come out shooting and lighting up, and robot spins around as guns make "shooting" sounds (check out my action shots! Yep, still works after all these years!) Chrome on face and antenna are clean and bright, and the paint on his body and legs is in perfect condition. The look of the back panel is really impressive! I am not a professional toy dealer, but to me this Rotate-O-Matic Super Astronaut from 1980 is in excellent, "MINT" condition! If you should have any questions, please ask BEFORE bidding!
