Collapsible Leg Surveying Instrument Tripod

Transit or Level Description: This sale is for the Collapsible Leg Tripod pictured. The mount size is 3 1/2 x 8" which became the standard size back in the 1930s. It will fit under many different brands of instruments. One of two clamps on one leg is missing its thumbscrew. Some other clamps have been changed out. Still works. Overall it is in used / usable condition.
It is a good candidate for repurposing as a table lamp, lamp stand or other Steampunk driven creative application.
