Notice, too, that the cords are hard-wired into the set. That's how the phone company did it decades ago before they went with modular cords that ripped out when you dropped the phone or pulled it too hard.
The Western Electric plastics have been mounted to an ITT base. ITT operated under a license granted by Western Electric. The parts are identical clones. I did this in order to give you a new-old-stock base with soft rubber feet. Compare this to others selling "restored" phones whose bottoms are rusty with hard, cracking, worn out feet.
The old-fashioned mechanical twin gong brass bells will wake the dead. Fortunately, a little wheel underneath will adjust the volume with the tip of your finger.
This rotary dial phone will work on a traditional telephone company land line. However, if your line is supplied by cable, VOIP, etc., it may not dial out. If you have any doubt whether your phone company supports rotary dialing, please check with them.
You will not find a prettier restored telephone than what you get here. Please add shipping. Thanks! -Eddie
