Here is a BONA FIDEORIGINAL 1977 FOX issue Vader Mylar poster - ROLLED! Even some of the mosthard-core Star Wars poster collectors haven't seen this one, or simply haven'tbeen able to get it! In 1977 when Star Wars was just released 20th-Century-Foxissued this Darth Vader Mylar poster to advertise the now legendary Star Warssoundtrack album in the record stores. This poster was used EXCLUSIV...ELY TOADVERTISE the movie and the album! This poster was NOT distributed to thepublic. It was NOT for sale or given away. That is why it's so rare. In fact itis rarer than the advance mylar one sheet on Star Wars (which WAS sold andgiven to the public at comic book and science fiction conventions). It's sorare that the editors of the official Star Wars Checklist poster (published in1985) DID NOT include this on the poster. They put the two one sheets issued toadvertise the soundtrack (style A & D) on the poster but not this mylar.Other smaller posters such as the Concert poster, the Howard Chaykin poster andthe two NPR radio posters as well as the half sheet are all on the poster butnot this - They must not have been unaware of its existence.

This poster measures approximately 22x33 inches and is printed on amirror-like mylar stock in 1977. What a BEAUTY!!!! This poster damages easilyso it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to find this one in this clean SOLID NearMINT/ROLLED UNRESTORED CONDITION -if you can find it at all! It's a tough one to photograph, given themirror-reflective nature of the piece, and so the photo isn't the greatest -but - you get the idea. The poster has been stored FLAT between acid-free paper for at least 20 years now, and so it is FLAT (no curl). It will be shipped rolled for this transaction, but, it will re-flatten right out again in a couple of days after you get it, and so it is ready to FRAME!
