Apple PowerBook G3 M4753 300mhz PDQ 1998 M7109LL/A (RARE) 100 HD 512mb Ram
Item History & Price
Apple PowerBook G3 300mhz, 100gb HD, 512mb Ram 20x CD drive.
The time has come for me to thin some of the herd. This is a very nice example of a rare 300mhz PDQ. It comes with a functioning battery, nice display, OS 9.2.1 installed plus install disc, original charger and 20x CD drive. The computer works well. It’s got a 100gb HD and 512mb of ram. The p-ram battery seems to work and the battery life is surprisingly good. I’m also throwing in a VST battery charger plus an extra ba...ttery. The extra battery is pretty much dead but I’ll let the next owner figure out how to rebuild it. Now for its warts. There is a crack on the back of the bottom case (See photos). I had thoughts about replacing the case but I wanted to keep it as original as possible. The damage does not affect the functionality of the computer. There is a scratch on the bottom of the case as well. (See photos)If the battery is removed and power isn’t first established using the power chord, it won’t start. Don’t ask me why, it’s a model specific thing. Also, after the chime, it will take up to 30 seconds for the display to come one. Again, don’t be alarmed, it is completely normal for this version of the G3.I can’t check functionality on all the ports because I don’t own some of the outdated devices. I do know the PCMCIA slots work as well as the Ethernet port. Thanks for looking.
