For your consideration is an antique SET OF CROWN and ROSETTE CHECKERS consisting of 12 FADED RED (now Pink) and 12 BLACK pieces.
The pieces measure approximately 1-1/8th inch (or about 2, 85 centimeters) in diameter and are approximately 5/16th inch (or about 0, 8 centimeters) in thickness.
Given the items with which I acquired them several years ago, they are likely lat...e 19th century or early 20th century and of American or British manufacture.
