From the estate of a serious collector, I am selling an:1941 General Electric L570 Catalin radio.This L570 version is in a nice rich butterscotch with matching handle, knobs and grill. The knobs and face appear to be original. The body is in good condition. In researching this radio on the WWW I have never found one to have a back and it may have been added later. The radio has not been polished and is in its original finish.It turns on after warming up and was able to g...et some sound out of it. I did not leave it on for very long.Please note I am not radio expert but am willing to look over the radio with any questions you may have.
I ship radios out double boxed. This means that I encase the radio in bubble wrap - secure it in a box - wrap that box with bubble - then secure it in a second box. This is the safest way to ship these fragile pieces of electronics.
